Barbara Hannah Grufferman

Thanksgiving is next week, and like most of us, I’ve been counting my many blessings.  My list begins and ends with my family–my husband and children–and I’m grateful that I am healthy.  Of course, it goes without saying that we are blessed to have found and rescued Gunther the Wonder Dog last year.  This will be his second Thanksgiving with the Grufferman clan.

My friends–Facebook and non-Facebook–bring me so much pleasure, it’s hard to put into words.

I’m also grateful for this lovely blog mention from, which states that the women behind it are grateful for me and two of my fellow authors.  That’s really, really nice.  In case you missed it, here it is. Enjoy, and if you are reading this blog . . . please know that I am very, very grateful for you. : )

I’m thankful for the hair advice. Combs and brushes always transformed my gentle curls into frizz. The only solution was the big round brush and a dryer making my hair look like a football helmet. The tips in this book gave me the ‘permission’ to do what I always dreamed of… throwing away the brush and dryer!! Now I have the curly hair I’ve always wanted and my bathroom isn’t full of hair. It’s so easy and looks great! I’m also grateful to finally find someone else who used the orange juice cans on top of the head. I guess we read the same teen magazine back in the 70’s. Thanks Barbara!

  2. Hello Theresa,
Yes, I guess we did! Letting my hair “go natural” was one of the best things I did for myself after I turned 50.
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving . . . and please stay in touch.
